I followed the round-up at www.spckssg.wordpress.com today. I went over to Fr David Keen’s post. He said that Fr Christian Troll was having a rant of Biblical proportions. Well I visited Fr Troll who seems to be American and teaches the bible. Seems that there was a “Brewer” type comment which reads:
Pretty hypocritical remarks. Why don’t you care about the fact that every-time you fill up with gas in the UK, you have to walk by soft porn.
Why don’t you care about this indecency? blah, blah, blah…
Looks like Brewer has noticed some soft porn in the UK. I’m reminded that Phil Groom had a post about Thirdspacebooks where Phil Brewer instructed staff to tell customers that they could get anything on Thirdspacebooks. So what is he upset about?
Phil Brewer has time on his hands. Bookshop staff can probably expect a whole lot of gunk on their hands and I mean on their hands. Prepare for a whole lot of new instructions.
What beats me is why Phil B picked up the criticism of Thirdspacebooks at this late stage. What I can’t understand is why he went and blogged on www.gafcon.blogspot.com
If Phil had asked me I would have said, “Check your English Phil, it’s everytime, not every-time.” I would also have advised him not to feed The Troll.
