I’ve not gone off my head. I do not feel sorry for him. It’s just that poor ole Mark Brewer has got his knickers in a bit of a twist. It seems he just has to get himself into trouble. His brother isn’t much better.
Remember those C&D’s and those horrible memos to staff. Well he’s at it again. He’s throwing a hissy fit because his assets have been frozen. Not only is his personal money involved but also the money he has to “care” for as a trustee and the shared business with his wife. I guess that means SSG, ENC Shop Management Company, Chichester Shop Management Company and Durham Cathedral Shop Management Company. One could argue that there probably isn’t much money in the different companies but hey, his money has been frozen. Poor Mark cannot access his assets. You don’t believe this? You will remember that good ole Mark paid himself and BpLaw quite a wack for services rendered for his own charity. Should he lose this one – who is going to pay the legal fees?
Seems to me that Mark is getting a taste of his own medicine. He’s gone to “tribunal”! Just to add, Mark is not like other people who can’t pay the mortgage or the rent. He is not like the ordinary folk who have found themselves caught up in Stanford’s alleged fraud. He is an investor – a worried one! Worryingly for us, we do need to ponder on what this means for our union and the tribunal proceedings. In the meantime Mousey is enjoying some Stanford cricket!
