Chichester gone. Durham next?

Thanks to an an anonymous contributor for these pictures of the Chichester shop. The shop is closed. How ineffably sad. Recent comments on the SPCK SSG blog indicate that it will take a huge financial effort to fix the fabric of the building. Hopefully the Diocese will see fit to move soon and get the shop re-opened.

There have been notices on other bookshop doors. This is the only one where customers are thanked for many years of support.

Mark Brewer and his colleague Pritchard tried hard to silence the bloggers didn’t they? All because Mark Brewer didn’t want his dirty linen aired in public. Like his brother, Phil Brewer, he caused a ruckus of monumental proportions. All because he didn’t want us to see this:

As we reflect on the wholesale disruption of our lives because we got landed with these (don’t quite know what to call them) Brewers, take time to thank Randy Williams. Without him the Brewers might have escaped the scrutiny of the Charity Commission.

We might be watching the end of the Charity called St Stephen the Great.  At last the Brewers’ misdeeds have caught up with them. To quote someone who has followed the story, “the lunatics are back in their padded cell and the warders have taken the keys.”

Just proves that Phil Brewer knows what he is all about. Causing a ruckus and others have to sort it out.  The behaviour of a toddler I say.

For the Blogger who blogs as Scatter Cushions…I found a suicidal squirrel for you. It hung on by it’s tail but it got there.

What a brainless venture. Leaving an ancient plane at Bodmin where only intrepid bloggers would find it, is way different to dumping a car on a World Heritage Site where parking is at a premium.

Finally, someone took issue with this image of Mark Brewer: “Don’t undermine him” was the warning.

I apologised to the pig at the time. I think I apologised for not being a Brewerite. I took a photo of a lovely pig and toyed with the idea of changing the image. I couldn’t do it to this pig.

I happily scratched this pig’s back. I wouldn’t scratch Mark Brewer’s. No hugs for him.
